Women's Empowerment in Beirut

One of our Directors was priviledged to be invited to participate in a symposium in Beirut last week, exploring methods of engaging and empowering women in politics and entrepreneurship. The symposium provided an insight into the political and social environment in Lebanon, the challenges for women in the region, and existing support structures and areas of need. Symbiont will be working with local partners to develop innovative solutions and hopefully develop some support projects on the ground in and around Beirut.

Our Partner is nominated in the Echo Awards

Our partner in the delivery of the Come Together project, Rotunda Amateur Boxing Club, was nominated for Best Team in the Echo Awards, and we were delighted to be invited to the ceremony as guests of Rotunda. Unfortunately Rotunda did not win the award on the night, but we would like to offer our full congratulations to the charity for all their amazing work in 2018!

Keep up the good work and keep changing people's lives!!!
