WHO ARE WE

Established in 2017, Symbiont CIC is a community-based social enterpise, rooted in North Liverpool and delivering services and activities primarily across Merseyside and the North West. Our team includes specialists and practitioners in the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector, with a broad range of experience supporting diverse groups and communities.

We recognise that we are not, and can never be, the experts in everything, so we work in partnership to bring in experts, to develop innovative solutions, and meet the needs of the diverse range of individuals, groups and communities that we serve.

WHO WE SUPPORT

Our services are open to everyone, however we target specific groups for some of our projects and activities including:

  • Young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder and a range of learning difficulties and physical disabilities

  • Older people who are socially isolated

  • Adults who a long -term unemployed and NEET

  • Women who are vulnerable, including ex-offenders

  • Community groups, charities and social enterprises addressing local need
